Choosing a contractor for your home renovation project can be a daunting task. You want someone reliable, skilled, and trustworthy. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Evco LLC, also known as Evelyn Boggiano, was anything but pleasant.

    About Evco LLC

Evco LLC, doing business as Evelyn Boggiano, is a construction and remodeling contractor based in Orange County, California. Specializing in bathroom and kitchen renovations, Evco LLC markets itself as a reliable and experienced contractor serving both residential and commercial clients in the Orange County area.

    My Experience

I hired Evco LLC to remodel my bathroom, hoping to give it a fresh, modern look. However, what followed was a nightmare that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Initially, Evelyn promised that the project would be completed within 10 days. However, it ended up taking a staggering 3 months to finish. Throughout the project, Evelyn made several major mistakes and displayed poor workmanship. She never took accountability for her errors and instead made excuses. In fact, she even tried to blame me on multiple occasions. It was clear that she was more interested in making excuses than delivering quality work.

    The Issues

Here are just a few of the issues I faced during my remodeling project with Evco LLC:

    • Failure to complete the project within the promised timeline.
    • Major mistakes made during the remodeling process.
    • Poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail.
    • Lack of accountability and constant excuses.
    • Attempts to blame the customer for her own mistakes.

    California Consumer Protection Laws

California has several laws in place to protect consumers from unscrupulous contractors like Evco LLC. Under the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), contractors are required to:

    • Be licensed and in good standing with the CSLB.
    • Provide accurate estimates and timelines for projects.
    • Adhere to quality workmanship standards.
    • Take responsibility for mistakes and rectify them promptly.
    • Not engage in deceptive or unfair business practices.

If you believe you have been a victim of contractor fraud or negligence, you can file a complaint with the CSLB.

    Conclusion

My experience with Evco LLC, also known as Evelyn Boggiano, was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Her failure to deliver on her promises, coupled with her poor workmanship and lack of accountability, made the bathroom remodeling project a complete nightmare. I strongly advise others to avoid hiring Evco LLC for any construction or remodeling projects. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Do your research and choose a contractor who is reliable, skilled, and trustworthy.
